LegalLegal Disclosures
Effective Date and last updated: August 20, 2026
These disclosures explain how Artfully Coded Studio approaches educational content, affiliate links, testimonials, AI-assisted content, and third-party recommendations.
1. General Website Disclaimer
Website articles, guides, examples, educational resources, and other general content are provided for informational and educational purposes. They are not legal, tax, financial, medical, mental-health, or other licensed professional advice. Use your judgment and consult an appropriately qualified professional for advice specific to your circumstances. ACS makes reasonable efforts to publish useful and accurate information but does not guarantee that general website content is complete, current, or appropriate for every business, platform, or jurisdiction.
2. Affiliate Disclosure
Plain-language notice: Some links may be affiliate links. If you purchase through one of those links, ACS may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate links may appear in articles, resource pages, newsletters, social posts, videos, or other content. A material connection will be disclosed clearly and near the recommendation or link where a reasonable person can notice it before acting. A general disclosure on this page does not replace a disclosure in the relevant content. Compensation does not change the price paid by the customer. Recommendations reflect ACS's opinion at the time of publication, but customers should evaluate whether a third-party product or service is appropriate for them. Third-party purchases are governed by the third party's terms, policies, and support practices. Links to ACS's own products or services are not affiliate links merely because ACS may earn revenue from the purchase.
3. Testimonials and Reviews
Testimonials and reviews reflect the genuine experiences and opinions of the people identified. Individual experiences vary and do not guarantee that another customer will receive the same result. ACS does not create or publish fake, AI-generated, or materially misleading testimonials attributed to a real or fictional customer.
ACS may request a review or testimonial. Any incentive, discount, free product, or other material connection will be disclosed, and an incentive will not be conditioned on a positive review.
Submission alone does not authorize unlimited promotional use of a person's name, image, voice, business, or statement. When ACS wishes to use a testimonial in marketing, it will obtain consent through a testimonial release, service agreement, or clear submission form. The person may select the approved attribution where offered.
ACS may correct spelling, grammar, or formatting and may shorten a testimonial for space, but will not materially change its meaning. A person may request removal from future digital marketing by contacting ACS. Reasonable efforts will be made to remove the material from active channels, although previously printed, distributed, archived, or reposted materials may remain.
4. AI Content and Creative Tools
Plain-language notice: ACS uses AI tools as part of some creative and administrative workflows. Human judgment, editing, and approval remain part of the final ACS process.
AI tools may assist with brainstorming, studio-authored copy concepts, editing, design concepts, synthetic imagery, marketing materials, meeting transcripts, and internal organization. AI involvement may range from minor assistance to substantial image generation, depending on the content or service.
Some website images, graphics, mockups, or visual elements may be AI-generated or AI-enhanced. ACS does not use synthetic media to fabricate customer experiences, impersonate a person without consent, create fake testimonials, or falsely represent an event as documentary fact. Where context is not sufficient and a reasonable viewer could be materially misled, ACS will use an appropriate disclosure.
AI output can contain inaccuracies, artifacts, bias, or unexpected similarities. ACS reviews and edits work before publication or client delivery, but does not promise that AI-assisted output is error-free, exclusive, or eligible for copyright protection.
5. AI Use in Client Services
ACS does not ordinarily upload client-provided copy, photographs, recordings, or intake responses to general-purpose AI tools. ACS may use studio-authored prompts or non-identifying information to create copy concepts or synthetic images for custom sites and templates. A different use requires client authorization.
Clarity Cafe recordings may be processed through HoneyBook's AI meeting features after all participants consent. The resulting transcript and meeting notes are working records and may contain transcription errors.
For an AI Photoshoot, ACS uses only reference photographs of the client who booked the service and obtains express written consent. Generated images are creative simulations and may not perfectly reproduce the client's appearance. Additional terms, consent, likeness permissions, retention information, and permitted uses are presented at booking.
6. External Links and Third Parties
References or links to third-party platforms, products, businesses, or services do not create a warranty or make ACS responsible for the third party. Availability, pricing, features, policies, and performance may change. Review the third party's information before purchasing or relying on it.
